Aug 12, 2016 · Opel has really improved the interior comfort of the new Astra. The body control is good too, so it sits nice and flat in the corners. That’s not to say it’s set up too stiffly for everyday use… in fact, its ride is quite pliant over bumps and the suspension copes well when the road surface deteriorates.

The dimensions ratio of the cars is an interesting thing to compare. It's also worth comparing engines of the cars. Opel Astra only takes 8.1 sec for going at 60 mph, Volkswagen Golf takes 7.3 sec to get the same speed. Also, pay attention to the top speed of 224 km/h / 139 mph for Golf and match it to 225 km/h / 140 mph for Astra.

Does anyone have this model and engine, and if so how many miles per gallon are you achieving when on a motorway/highway and how reliable is the car with this engine. For my work, I'd be able to do enough mike's to let the DPF regenerate.
